So...
MERRRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
Joy to the world, the Lord is Come! Let earth receive her King!
(Traditional Christmas mug of the fam :-)
Okay, now for a little entertainment...(that's what you came here for, right? ;-) *clearing throat*
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the manor
Life is silent and still, save a horse in light canter
Wounds barely healed, feeling every hoofbeat and jostle
John presses on, fearing Louisa's circumstance hostile
For she trusted a man, unaware of dark motives
For she trusted a man, unaware of dark motives
Now Great Britain's at risk, and the air is explosive
God is able, God will keep us, John assures his anxious mind
And I will reach France and save Louisa in time!
(A precursor to my next chapter for your reading delight
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!)
LOL! I'm not a poet...still, I couldn't bring myself to pass up Marji Laine's cool challenge to write my own C. Clement Moore poem highlighting my WIP. Hope you enjoyed the laugh. :-)

Hi, Gwendolyn!! Gee, I thought it was really good!! Very cute! Anyway, I'd like to wish you and your family the most wondrous, blessed Christmas ever!! : )
Thanks Elizabeth! Thanks Maria! :-) Just got the presents put together and wrapped. ;-) I'm going to have fun with my one year old tomorrow morning! Merry Christmas!
Gwen, you have a beautiful family!
I hope your Christmas was wonderful!
Thanks Loree! I did have a wonderful Christmas! I hope you did too! But I'm going to regret getting my son a drum full of noisy musical instruments... On top of that, my sister got him a pair of red shoes that squeak when he walks. It's so cute to watch him dance in them, but ay yi yi! LOL!
Merry Christmas, sweet Gwendolyn. I hope your day was filled with family, faith and fun!
Thanks Shannon! Merry Christmas!
